Doctrine Statement

1. The Scriptures Inspired
We believe that the Holy Bible, including the Old and the New Testaments, is the inspired word of God to man; the rule of faith and conduct for our lives and contains the complete revelation of God's will for salvation of humanity. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21) .

2. The One True God
We believe in the existence of one true God, Jehovah, which is well defined by the Scriptures, which reveal Him in three divine persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 6:4, Matthew 28:19, 1 John 5:7).

3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God and man, and as such is the only being who has two natures and one person, as he was born of a virgin, but conceived by the Holy Spirit. In other words he is God made man.
He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day, and he alone is the only mean of justification for the salvation of everyone who believes in Him. He is seated at the right hand of God. (Hebrews 1:1-4, Colossians 1:15-23, John 14:9-11, 1 John 2:1, Romans 3:24, John 3:16).

4. The Deity of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God. He is a divine person that can hear, think, learn, teach, guide, feel and order. He leads us to repent of our sins and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convincing the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He enters in the life of the believers instantly they believe and receive Christ as Savior and produces in them the new birth that rises them to the position of the son of God. (John 14:26, 15:26, Ephesians 4:30, John 3:3-5, Ephesians 1:113, 14, Acts 16:6).

5. The Fall of Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan, and he turned away from his creator remaining subject to curse and sin and unable to return to God by his own means. The man can obtain salvation through Jesus Christ and spiritual life only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:27, James 3:9, Romans 3:10-18)

6. The Salvation of Man
We believe that the salvation of the soul is a spiritual transformation that takes place miraculously by the Holy Spirit, by faith in the word of God, by faith in the blood of Christ and repentance of sin. And there is not salvation through another person, only Jesus Christ is the mediator, the only way, the only savior. (John 3:3-5, John 20:31, John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12, Luke 1:46-48, Acts 2:38).

7. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is an eduement of power shed to prepare the Christian person, which was not only for the apostles and it gives us power to witness. It also gives us the manifestation of the Gifts and produces the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:38, Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12, 1-10; 14:3, 26, Galatians 5:22-23).

8. The Church and Its Mission

The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven (Ephesians 1:22,23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23). Since God's purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshiped by man, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, the priority reason-for-being of the Shekinah Christian Church as part of the Church is:

a. To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15,16).

b. To be a corporate body in which man may worship God (1 Corinthians 12:13).

c. To be a channel of God's purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Corinthians 12:28; 14:12).

9. The Ministry

A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the threefold purpose of leading the Church in: (1) evangelization of the world (Mark 16:15-20), (2) worship of God (John 4:23,24), and (3) building a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11,16).

10. Divine Healing

Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16,17; James 5:14-16).

11. The Consummation of All Things

We believe that the consummation of all things includes: The rapture of the church, the Return of Jesus Christ, which we expect, the resurrection of the dead in Christ, the Judgment of the wicked, the millennial kingdom of Christ and the fulfillment of the new heavens and new earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 Corinthians 15, Philippians 2:5-11) .
